The Pulse

Through the slit she saw the glittering gleam and heard the muffled giggles of the water that danced on each rock gregariously. Life seemed complete – but was she ready?

When the icy winds melted to reveal the vernal parade – she could wait no longer; she wanted the fiery colours to fill her, a whiff of the freshness to envelop her. She wanted her dormant senses to come to life.

It was time. Life was ready.

And then, to respond to the incessant beckoning, she burst out of her cocoon flaunting her perfection, to wed the beauty of the cosmos.
